Project of the Month of October: Somebody Cares for Health
In the context of the FAIRMED children sponsorship program, we protect millions of children and their families from infections and provide them with the necessary medical care.
Millions of Children suffer from neglected diseases like worm infections, leprosy, buruli ulcer, bilharzia, leptospirosis, leishmaniasis or the African sleeping sickness.
These neglected diseases are often easy to treat and can be cured merely with cheap medicine.
Just if they remain untreated, they cause great trouble and often lead to a fatal end. We do our best to build up the necessary means and local health services to prevent these courses of disease from happening.
Become a children’s sponsor or lifesaver! With your contribution, we will be able to provide these people with access to good health.
With a children sponsorship of 360 francs a year you protect children from neglected diseases.
With a lifesaver sponsorship of 120 francs a year you give people a healthy life.
