Setting up mobile operations teams

Isolated regions are difficult to reach. Often, obstacles such as rivers or a lack of roads mean that is impossible to travel by car. Our mobile health teams overcome impassable routes with bicycles, motorcycles and small boats.

Each one of our project countries can make use of vehicles that are precisely matched to the local conditions. This enables those in need of help to receive treatment directly in their villages. In urgent cases, the mobile health teams transport patients to the nearest hospital by the quickest means possible.
