How does my donation work and does it reach its destination?
Thanks to your donation, even the poorest in Cameroon gain access to urgently needed healthcare. How we achieve this together with people like you, you can learn in the FAIRMED annual report. And if you would like to receive regular insights into our work and the people on the ground, follow us on social media. In Cameroon, last year we, among other things:
Reached 114,468 people
Treated 10,359 people
Enabled 6,384 safe births
Trained 412 healthcare professionals and aides and further trained
The ZEWO foundation also regularly confirms with its seal of approval that we use donations efficiently and purposefully. It additionally assesses our integrity, transparency, and sustainability. Since 1963, we have been carrying the ZEWO seal of approval, which guarantees that donations flow directly into our projects and that we maintain a lean and small administration. It is proof from a neutral source that our operational processes are professional and efficient and are constantly improved. Furthermore, we disclose in our annual reports all expenses and show what we were able to achieve and how we have used your donations.
Can I deduct my donation from my taxes?
You can deduct your donation to FAIRMED from your taxes. If you have donated to FAIRMED, we will send you your donation receipt next January. However, if you donated online and we do not have all your address details, please send us an email with your full name, address, and request for a donation receipt to info@fairmed.ch or call us at +41 31 311 77 97.
What happens to my data?
The protection of your personal data is very important to us. FAIRMED does not sell, rent, or exchange data and uses your information exclusively in accordance with the applicable data protection law.
Are there alternatives to donating money?

Why should I donate regularly?
It takes time to establish and consolidate sustainable structures locally. Our projects are therefore designed to run for an average of four years. Your regular support enables us to plan our projects more effectively and thus guarantee a long-term commitment to improving the health of the poorest people. You can decide for yourself how much you want to donate and how often.
