đŸŽ„ Nepal: impressions that get under your skin

In the midst of the breathtaking hilly landscape of the Baglung district, small villages are scattered between valleys and mountain ridges. Here, where life seems so picturesque, the nearest health post is often hours away on foot. Too many women therefore still give birth to their children alone at home - without medical help, without protection and without safety. What should be a moment of hope and happiness quickly becomes a danger for mother and child.

That is why FAIRMED is there - with heart, hand and tireless commitment. In concrete terms, last year alone we trained 38 health professionals in Baglung on the topic of maternal and child health, supported 40 mothers' groups with 973 members and ensured that over 50 health facilities, clinics and maternity centers were equipped with the most important medical aids. In total, we have facilitated 446 safe births.

But enough of dry descriptions and figures. Watch the video to see how FAIRMED heroes and heroines are bringing health to the women and children affected on the ground:

We are committed to the health of mothers and children in all our projects. Because every mother deserves the chance of a safe birth. And every child deserves a healthy start in life. Thank you for supporting us with your donation.
