Here are a few examples of our impact based on some impact figures:

FAIRMED directly supported 1,778,876 people last year and raised awareness of health issues through personal exchanges.

1,447,343 people were treated for NTDs (neglected tropical diseases) such as leprosy, Buruli ulcer, and yaws.

FAIRMED trained 4,005 local qualified health workers and volunteer health workers.

FAIRMED facilitated 54,434 safe births in its projects.

FAIRMED supported 84,974 people in emergencies such as natural disasters.

The ZEWO foundation regularly confirms with its seal of approval that we use donations efficiently and purposefully. It also assesses our integrity, transparency, and sustainability. We have held the ZEWO seal of approval since 1963, which guarantees that donations go directly to our projects and that we have a lean and small administration. It is proof from a neutral source that our operational processes are professional and efficient and are constantly being improved. In addition, we disclose all expenses in our annual reports and show what we have been able to achieve and how we have used your donations.

You can deduct your donation to FAIRMED from your taxes. If you have donated to FAIRMED, we will send you your donation receipt next January. However, if you donated online and we do not have all your address details, please send us an email with your full name, address, and request for a donation receipt to info@fairmed.ch or call us at +41 31 311 77 97.

It takes time to establish and consolidate sustainable structures locally. Our projects are therefore designed to run for an average of four years. Your regular support enables us to plan our projects more effectively and thus guarantee a long-term commitment to improving the health of the poorest people.
